Whatever Life will Brings, it will Always Be a Precious Gift.

So here I AM, being (p)Art at this international event which aims to Celebrate the Existence of a Human Being as Leonardo Da Vinci has been, to whom I found many Connections and to those I’ll stick for presenting my project of Performing Art, the heARTbeat – Multiple Collective Work of Art.

XIII Florence Biennale 2019

18 – 27 October | Spadolini Pavilion @ Fortezza da Basso, Florence

In the Spadolini Pavilion of the Fortezza da Basso – a unique location in the world, a masterpiece of Renaissance military architecture that combines historical and contemporary heritage – the XIII edition of the Florence Biennale takes place from 18 to 27 October 2019.
The event hosts over 400 artists from all over the world, selected by an International Committee according to the theme ARS ET INGENIUM – Similarity and invention that celebrates Leonardo da Vinci.

“The Art that we intend to offer, through an exhibition of contemporary multi-soul, multicultural and multidisciplinary art, is a reflection on the cognitive and at the same time creative approach of Leonardo da Vinci 500 years after his death.” (Melanie Zefferino, curator)

The International Prize “Lorenzo il Magnifico” is also included, which in previous career editions was given to extraordinary artists, all protagonists of the contemporary art scene such as Marina Abramovic, El Anatsui, Marta Minujin, Anish Kapoor, Giampaolo Talani, Sauro Cavallini, Gilbert & George, Shu Yong, Christo & Jeanne-Claude and others.

Presenting the heARTbeat project: and holistic vision of what Art is.

According to Melanie Zefferino, Curator of the Art Exhibition:

At the dawn of the new millennium, Leonardo’s method appears as a “light” to follow along a path of knowledge and perfection that would seem to require the adoption of a holistic approach to look at the individual in his physical, psychic and spiritual unity , so as to fully grasp the value of an artist and his work.

This is the reason why I’m proud to show how my personal path and the theme of my performing art project resonate with Leonardo’s approach:
“When the spirit does not cooperate with the hands there is no Art (…)  The deity that inhabits the painter makes that the painter’s mind become a similitude of the divine mind“.
The proposition of my “innovative” art has the result to be something multi-cultural, multi-frequencies, multi-emotional Collective Art Process: the HEARTBEAT.

The first result of the module #1 – the globe porcelain sculpture and the video-collage of the first performers co-creators – will be exhibited here, and the call to the next Opening of the Art ritual #2 opened.

Award

Project The heARTbeat won the second place for category performing art at the Lorenzo il Magnifico Award! I’m so honored, and this motivates me to go further and search for funds to transform my simple video into an interactive algorithm-generated installation for public spaces, always growing in contributions from the People that will want to join this experience of Awakening.
