I am so excited to be back to the wonderful Saatchi Gallery to participate at Collect 2018, the leading international art fair for contemporary objects presented by the Crafts Council (UK) in London, from 22 to 25 February 2018.
I will exhibit with Riccardo Sorani’s ESH Gallery and, for the first time, I will present my series carved on porcelain, expecially crafted for this occasion.
Titled Eggshell, it’s a research about fragility and gentleness, throught the material.
The result is, probably, the thinnest sculpted porcelain in the world: the surface is less than 1 mm!
I will be present at the stand on the vernissage day, Thursday, and then again on Saturday, when I also give a speach at h 13.15.
Collect returns to the Saatchi Gallery for its 14th edition, bringing together 39 galleries from four continents. It’s a celebration of making, extraordinary in both scale and scope. Museum-quality works and installations from hundreds of the most talented makers in the UK, USA, South Korea, Japan, France, Norway, Italy, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden…
