TRESOR Contemporary Craft in Basel is the new, unique, international fair for high-quality applied arts: I’m so happy to have been invited by ESH Gallery to exhibit my Rounded Magnificos.
Other than some of the artworks I already presented in February at Collect some new ones will be prepared.
TRESOR17 will be in September 2017, from 21 to 24th. I’ll be present at the gallery stand B3 on days 20-21-22.
Together with my artworks, ESH Gallery shows many other incredibly vibrant artworks from Japanese artists.
Tresor identifys trends and innovations in 21st century craft using materials such as wood, fibre, glass, ceramics, metal, and new materials pushing the boundaries between art, craft, design and architecture. It seeks out craft movements that are reviving or reinventing traditional techniques and design processes with the help of new technologies. It shows the collectibles of the future.
Tresor tells the stories behind the objects and bring them to life by focusing on the makers and their work. The aim is to foster a new appreciation and understanding for what craft is today and safeguard it for the future.
Tresor looks for highly talented young craft specialists, offer them their first sales platform and support them in marketing their work professionally. The best newcomer project is presented with the TRESOR Discovery Award.
